to a yoga practice that incorporates both traditional practices and philosophies that are relevant to modern day life.

I use my many years of experience with yoga and fitness to help people integrate healthier ways of moving, avoid injury and to challenge themselves, both mentally and physically.

I strive to teach in a way that focuses on functional movement patterns and encourages students to find their own balance between flexibility and strength. Yoga is a practice. And because practice means repetition, it is imperative that safe and healthy movement is prioritized. Every class focuses on alignment-based movement and always includes abdominal strengthening, reintegration of the glutes into movement, spinal alignment, breath work, self-exploration and developing a healthy mind-body connection.

My passion for exercise

and wellness began at an early age with all kinds of dance.

After 15 years as a dancer, I was inspired to try new things, and this led me to running, Pilates, paddling on a dragon boat team, TRX training and ultimately to personal training and yoga. I have since cultivated a passion for helping people explore the capabilities of the human body and its relationship to a life that encompasses well-being, in both body and mind.

My mission is to promote health, strength and vitality by helping people cultivate a passion for strong bodies and minds, and to inspire people to see that any change, big or small, can have a profound effect on their lives.
